My brother and I were left alone starting when I was 3 or 4 and he was 6 or 7. My parents worked a lot so we had a lot of time to explore and run around. We would go down to the river and just follow it for hours before turning back. We pretended we were looking for treasure. I loved that (except the time my brother dropped me on an electric fence)
