Just what does Boon stand for?
A boon is defined as “a benefit bestowed, especially one bestowed in response to a request.” Each one of our products offers a boon to parents by helping to make their everyday lives a bit easier while incorporating great design at an affordable price.
I was immediately drawn to them for their commitment to creating affordable and innovative gear, as well as the fact that 10% of Boon's profits are donated to children's charities!
Upon contacting them, from Boon's line of Bath Toys, I was able to review:
Splat-Floating Ring Toss, Retail Cost $7.99
Water Bugs-Floating Bath Toys with Net, Retail Cost $7.99
Both toys are BpA-free, Phthalate-free, and PVC-free too!
I originally thought these toys would be ideal for my 19 month old son, which he thoroughly enjoyed playing with in the tub. However, to my amazement, my 9 year old daughter soon took a liking to them as well! Between bubbles and bath toys she could live in the tub!
The Splat toy is a floating ring toss toy. While my son doesn't have any aim just yet, he still gets a kick seeing them floating in the tub and throwing things! My daughter had the bright idea to want to use them randomly around the house like horseshoes, but we finally convinced her otherwise, lol!
As for the Water Bugs set, it was a little easier for my sob to try and scoop up/hit the various toys in the tub with the net! My daughter, of course, fell right in line with them!
In addition to Bath Toys and Accessories, Boon also has a Feeding Line, Potty Benches, and Toy Storage Systems.
Over the past few years, Boon's products have been featured in various media outlets including magazines (Pregnancy Magazine, Southern Living, and Parents Magazine), television (The Today Show and The Big Idea), and have won several awards. You can also visit Boon's blog for additional information!
In addition, Boon Inc. has agreed to provide one lucky The King's Court IV reader with their very own Splat and Water Bugs toys!!!
